The first Viggen prototype. The 37-1

| Change of the guards. My previous build of the 37-1 has been on post on the model shelf for 40 years. Now it has been replaced. |
| The first prototype of the Viggen the 37-1 is built from the Airfix 1/72 Viggen. It will have the canards pointing upward as 37-1 was built originally. |
| Here is the 37-1 started together with 37-2. |
| It is built more or less out of the box. Ready to be cleaned before painting. |
| The "sword" in the nose is a Lansen Gamma pitot tube from Maestro Models, or is it a Lance? |
| Number one and two has been painted |
| Paper cockpits and paper seatbelts on this to. |
| Airfix missed on the colours of the logo so I had to make new decals. |
