SdKfz.232
SdKfz.232
This is a Matchbox SdKfz.232. All I did was to alter the angle of the rear fenders, as I thought that they looked to "flat".
I think I have to get it a partner. The one without the big frame antenna. Isn't that called SdKfz.231?

Tatra Kübelwagen
SdKfz
Tatra This is something unusual. It's a Tatra Kübelwagen. It was built on the chassie of a Tatra sports car. I hope that one will come as a kit to. This kit is from Attack. As most open topped kits it could do with some more detailing inside. But I didn't bother, it's a nice kit anyhow.

SdKfz 252 ammocarrier
SdKfz
SdKfz I converted Esci SdKfz 250 in to the ammocarrier SdKfz 252. I'm working on a StuG to acompany it and found a drawing of the ammotrailer at last.
SdKfz 251/22
SdKfz

SdKfz
SdKfz This is an Esci Sd.Kfz 251 Ausf.C which has been modified into an Ausf.D so that I could mount an Airfix PaK40 on an scratchbuilt lavettage. I read an article on how to build this vehicle in 1/35 and I liked the look of it. When I found an article on how to modify the Esci 1/72 Ausf.C into an Ausf.D the work was on its way.
SdKfz 251/2 Ausf.D Mortar carrier
SdKfz
SdKfz 251/1 Ausf.C
SdKfz
The 251/2 is the second Ausf.D conversion I made. I scratch built a 8cm mortar that I mounted in the fighting compartment. The 251/1 is a Esci Ausf, C that got a MG42 (from Matchbox) on a scratch built tripod to act as a "Heavy MG".

Italian L6/40"
L6/40 This is a Italian L6/40 tank. It is a Resinkit from Ostmodel. As I avoid Resin if I can it has got to be a model that I realyy want if I should buy one. This is such object. I wanted an Italian tank in the Russian snow. There isn't much to chose from as the Italians didn't use much tanks in Russia. This was really an easy build, no problems what so ever. I will complete the scene with some figures later.

Japanese Chi-Ha"
chi-ha chi-ha An Airfix kit out of the box. It is really strange that there is so few Japanese WW2 tanks in plastic as they were one of the major participants in the war.

Panzer Panzer
PzKpfw 35(t)
Skoda tanks
This is Esci's Panzer 35(t) in rumanian service during Operation Barbarossa. I found an article on how to scratchbuild this tank in a old magazine. I didn't have to use the article to build this tank but I used it as a source to make the decals. On the picture to the left, it got company of a ARV or a muntionspanzer (it's a bit unclear for the moment, perhaps it was used in both roles) made from the same chassie. More pictures of it in the ARV section

Sd.Kfz 140/1"
Sd.Kfz Sd.Kfz This is the Attack kit of the Auflärungspanzer built on the Pz.38(t) chassies.
It is built "straight from the box". It is a bit tricky to assemble but I like the end result. I am glad that Attack made these kits as there are some Swedish variants on this chassie I want to build.

PzKpfw. PzKpfw.
PzKpfw. B1 (f)
PzKpfw. B1 (f)
I built this Matchbox Char B1 tank as one used by the german regiment "Prinz Eugen" in Yugoslavia. I can't recall doing any modifications on this kit.

Jagdpanzer 1 Ausf.B
JgdPz1B
JgdPz1B
Once again a Esci kit. This time without changes except to the decals. I marked it as a early LSSAH in France

PzKpfw II Ausf.C

PzKpfw
PzKpfw
A Fujimi Panzer II converted to an Ausf.C. I made a new cutdown glacisplate and a new square hatch in the turret. I wanted to do this one ever since I saw a picture of it. I mean how often have one seen a tank assigned to a medical officer?
I made decals for it and when I brought out the book for reference when it was time to decal the kit, I noticed that the tank should have the circular hatch in the turret. Well well. At least this type is bigger so one can se the gun in the turret better.
