Hasegawa Egg planes part 3

F-4 Phantom

I think this was built straight from the box with the decals included.
(Model finished 2009)

I chose the camouflaged plane instead of the Navy grey.

FG.1 Phantom

I decided to build a US Navy plane as well so I bought another kit. But then I got an idea of making it as a Royal Navy FG.1 instead
(Model finished 2020)

Longer nose gear to get the nose up attitude of the British Phantom. To increase this feeling I made the nose longer to get the tip even higher in the air. I also had to scratch build the larger jet cans.

OK It does look different compared to my other Phantom but I think that like my YF-12 the idea was better in my head than the result. I should have stuck to the US Navy plane as I initially thought.

F-14 Tomcat

This was also built straight from the box.
(Model finished 2009)

Even though I like red colour the black tail looks good on it.

F-15 Eagle

This is getting boring, but I have to write it again. It was built straight out of the box.
(Model finished 2009)

As I mentioned, I like the red colour, so I could have choose the Japanese decals in the kit but I liked the EG code on the fin.

F/A-18 Hornet

I wanted something else than the grey planes in the kit so Blue Angels was the choice.
(Model finished 2009)

I had to make the decals as it wasn't an option from Hasegawa at that time.

F-22 Raptor

Another kit built out of the box.
(Model finished 2018)

It has a funny shape. It looks pregnant.
