I entered a 1/32 car Group build with these two.

So, the Tamiya 1/48 scale Kurogane was entered in a 1/32 scale group build. Why? Scales has a habit to float around when I'm building. The chassis has been done and the wheels don't look to military. |
| The chassis and interior of the Ford has been built and painted. |
| As well as the body, but I haven't decided on how to proceed with the chrome. Bare metal Foil or trying the new Vallejo paints? |
| Alclad chrome has been added. I will use bare Metal Foil on the grill. |

| The siren on the roof is a 1/72 scale aircraft bomb and a piece of tube combined and reshaped. |
| The fictional city of Santa Teresa might be recognised if you read detective stories. I painted all but the grill and door handles with Alclad. I was going to use Bare Metal Foil on the grill, but it had dried up and cracked so it was unusable. I tried the Vallejo chrome on the grill instead. The door handles were brush painted with Humbrol Chrome Silver |
| On the Kurogane I rebuilt the sides so the curved top of the doors disappeared, then I built a new seat instead of the front and rear seats in the kit. |
| The result was a small car in 1/32 scale. |
| I tried the new chrome colour from Vallejo on this build, but I didn't manage to get a bright chrome finish. |
| This is finished and completes the Ford in a small setting. |
| The 1/32 scale registration plates from Calisota look big on this little car. |

Final picture. Both of my cars. A happy Mickey Mouse is seen leaving the Santa Teresa court house were the Phantom Blot just was sentenced to prison. Santa Barbara is the model for Santa Teresa in the Sue Grafton novels, so I used a picture of Santa Barbara court house |
