I bought a second kit planning to use the body on a standard Ford Model T to build a taxi. I started by cutting the body loose from the chassis.

Then I changed my mind deciding it was the wrong way to do it, so I scrapped the plan for an old taxi. Since the first Tijuana Taxi didn't turn out as I first planned I decided to build this one as I intended with my first kit. |
| I glued the body back on the chassis and set out with the aim of an out of the box build. |
|
I almost succeeded. I just added some cables to the engine and some extra decals. I also went for a yellow cab instead of the red-orange one on the box top. So now I have built the car I wanted to build as a kid. |
